Most popular bracket for all rectangle shaped Basic Inlet Valve Covers. Install into new construction by nailing or screwing it into a stud. For existing home installation cut the plastic stud mounting side off and set it in a 2-3/8″ x 4-1/4″ hole cut into drywall (or wall material). Fasten inlet cover (with attached low voltage wire) to backing plate for a long lasting, firm hold. When piping, connect a fitting such as a tight 90 or coupling to the flange on the back side of the mounting bracket.
Note: For existing installation it is helpful to glue the fitting on before mounting it with the vacuum plate to the wall.
